One short week later, basement walls are almost done...

A beginning

So, this is a blog to document the building of our home.  I'll try to keep it short and sweet with pictures all along the way, so we can look back someday and marvel at this amazing process.
And it truly is amazing.

A little over 2 weeks ago, it looked like this: 

 

our house arrived in a box one day...

then, a few trees came down:

that's a bunch of poplar...with a pretty wild cherry tree in front.

and a gravel driveway went in:

Now, basement walls are already going up, pictures coming soon...
